The TAKE Solutions World Corporate Challenge - India, National Final was held at Aamby Valley Golf Resort, Lonavala on March 7th 2009 was won by Rahul G Diwan & Associates of 111 points. The tournament was the official Indian qualifier for the World Corporate Golf Challenge World Finals to be held in Spain in July 2009.
IN 2nd place was Credit Suisse. with a score of 104 points, the team was led by Puneet Matta (32), Shivas Nath (33), Nohar Nath (32) and Rishi Bali (39).
The winning team consisting of RGD & Associates - Rahul Diwan (42) Ashish Aggarwal (31), Riaz Batliwala (38) Yohan Peddar (31). points, and a total of 111 won the right to participate in the World Finals at La Manga Golf Resort, Spain against teams from arund 25 different countries.
The four member corporate team tournament was based on the team returning the highest stableford point total of the four team members over 18 holes. The format of play was Individual stableford off ¾ handicap. The top three cards in every team were added up to give the team score.
TAKE Solutions World Corporate Challenge - India is the premier corporate team event in India. Teams from Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune & Delhi teams battling on the course for the first two place. Among the corporate teams participating were T&T Motors, Fashion Express, Oracle India and UB Global.
