Chennai / Bangkok, April 6, 2011: After a day of high standard golfing competition among
India’s leading corporate golf teams, the team from Hindustan Unilever comprising of
Rudratej Singh and Subash Naidu emerged winner at the National Finals of TAKE Solutions
World Corporate Golf Challenge 2011. The team from Swiss Military comprising Manav
Sardana and Aman Sawhney emerged runners up. The event concluded yesterday at the
picturesque Suwan Golf Club, Bangkok, Thailand. The national champions now will
compete with players from other countries at the World Corporate Golf Challenge at Cape
Town, South Africa to be held on May 3-8, 2011.
The 28 players representing 14 teams were selected after regional rounds across
Kodaikanal, Bangalore, Mumbai and New Delhi. The final line up for the National Final
included teams from TCS, Intron Technologies, Shade India, Eagleton, Technipower
Associates, Ramalingam & Ramchand, Navnit Motors, Credit Suisse, Simmonds Marshall,
Lotus Pond, Jaipur Golden Transport and Bahri Infrastructure.
“It was a day of hard fought professional golf where the players displayed very high
standards and competitive spirit. I on behalf of TAKE Solutions, would like to congratulate
the winning teams and wish them luck for the World Finals,” said Mr. N Kumar, Chairman,

our partners for making this tournament a grand success. It is this phenomenal response
that gives us the confidence and encouragement to make this event grander and better
every year.” he further added.
The tournament is the official Indian qualifier for the World Corporate Golf Challenge
World Finals to be held at Oubaai Golf Club, George, South Africa.
About TAKE Solutions World Corporate Golf Challenge
The Take Solutions World Corporate Golf Challenge- India is the only official Indian qualifying
tournament to select the Indian Team for the World Corporate Golf Challenge Finals. The World
Finals have been held annually since 1994 at the exclusive La Manga Club in Spain apart from one
edition each in Jamaica, Mauritius and Kuala Lumpur. India started participating in it since 1999
and TAKE Solutions is associated with the event since the year 2005.
