Titan Industries, Atrimed Pharma, Wipro and NVIDIA Graphics Emerge Winners of the Bangalore Leg of TAKE Solutions World Corporate Golf Challenge ’11 – 12
Bangalore, January 23, 2012 – Winning the Bangalore leg amidst tough competition today, four teams made their way to the National Final of the TAKE Solutions World Corporate Golf Challenge. The Bangalore leg of the annual event concluded at the Eagleton Golf Resort. The winners from Bangalore will join the other qualifiers from the other legs conducted earlier, for the National Final at Thailand.
On day one, Titan Industries, represented by Hari Achanta and Sandeep Kulahalli took top honours with a team score of 66 points. They were joined by Atrimed Pharma comprising of S Nagaraj and Dr. Hrishikesh who scored 65 points, for a spot in the National Finals. On day two, Wipro comprising of Nanda Kishore and Sriram Viswanathan with 74 points, emerged as the winners and the team comprising HP Raju and Vishal Dhupar, with 67 points, emerged as the runners up, representing NVIDIA Graphics.
Among the other participating corporate teams were IBM, Accenture, Goldman Sachs, Cisco, Credit Suisse, Capgemini Consulting, Bangalore’s own Infosys, Wipro and many others.
Mr. Srinivasan HR, Vice Chairman and Vision Holder, TAKE Solutions said, “We have received overwhelming response towards the tournament across all the regions and have seen a very high standard of performance from all participating teams. All the regional rounds went off very well and I congratulate all the qualifying teams for their performance and wish them good luck for the National finals.”
The finalists from India along with the finalists from other countries will then participate in the World Corporate Golf Challenge to be held in Cape Town, South Africa in May 2012.
